RAILA ODINGA NAMES HIS 2017 CABINET TEAM: THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF KENYA, CORD

Former
Prime Minister Raila Odinga is
expected to name his Shadow
Cabinet that will put the
Government of President Uhuru
Kenyatta and his Deputy, William
Ruto, on toes when he returns
from his sabbatical leave in the
US.
Already, Raila Odinga and his
CORD co-Principals, Kalonzo
Musyoka and Moses Wetangula,
are discussing the names of
possible men and women who
will be able to give Uhuru/ Ruto
sleepless nights and will be
released soon.
Each shadow Minister will be
given a detailed job description
with clear deliverables and will
be appraised yearly by colleagues.
Speaking on Friday, Homa Bay
Senator Otieno Kajwang said the
idea of the Shadow Cabinet is to
create a team of men and women
who will take over the
Government from Uhuru/ Ruto in
2017 when Raila Odinga becomes
President.
He said unlike Uhuru/ Ruto,
Raila’s team of men and women
will reflect the face of Kenya and
all the 42 tribes will be
represented.
“The idea is to create a team that
will be ready to take over
Government when we win in
2017,” said Kajwang.
Raila Odinga may also replace
Francis Nyenze as Minority
Leader in the National Assembly
when he names his Shadow
Cabinet.
