Friday, May 09, 2014 - Curtains
will come down on the 2013/14
Barclays Premier League on
Sunday with Manchester City
favorites to lift the trophy
although Liverpool have a slim
chance to win it should City bottle
it.
Once again the Premier League
has lived to its tag as the most
competitive league in the world
as the likes of Crystal Palace, who
made Suarez break down into
tears at Selhurst Park have
proven.
If you thought miracles don’t
happen, Sunderland boss Gas
Poyet proved they do happen
after he secured victories at
Chelsea, Manchester United and
managed a point at the Etihad to
keep the Black Cats in the English
top flight.
Cardiff City and Fulham will be
playing Championship football
next season and are likely to be
followed by Norwich City who
faces Arsenal in their last match
of the season.
Meanwhile, West Ham boss, Sam
Allardyce, has vowed to spoil
City’s party on Sunday and hand
the title to Liverpool, who he
reckons are ‘neutral’s choice.
While football has proven to be a
cruel game, it is highly unlikely
that City will bottle it at the
Etihad as they need a draw to be
crowned Champions.
All matches this weekend kick-off
at 4pm Kenyan time, on Sunday.
