Renowned political analyst,
Mutahi Ngunyi has given his take
on CORD coalition’s call for the
disbandment of the Independent
Electoral and Boundaries
Commission (IEBC) saying this is
all nonsense.
On his twitter account on Tuesday
evening, Mutahi who is famous
for his “Tyranny of Numbers”
hypothesis in last year’s General
Election said CORD’s plan to
disband IEBC is nothing but
political nonsense.
He said the plan is part of the
election run-off that CORD
orphans expected after last year’s
poll where President Uhuru
Kenyatta and his Deputy, William
Ruto, trounced Raila Odinga and
Kalonzo Musyoka with a big
margin.

CORD coalition has already tabled
a motion in Parliament seeking
the removal of nine IEBC
commissioners who rigged the
March 4th poll.
The nine IEBC commissioners,
according to CORD, allegedly
rigged out Raila Odinga’s outright
victory in favour of Uhuru
Kenyatta and William Ruto.
