OGOPA DJS LATEST NEWS, NEW ARTIST

Word on street has it that top
Kenyan artists signed to Ogopa
deejay have been kicked out
unceremoniously and their
contracts terminated.
According to sources, the studio’s
CEO, Lucas, is an angry man after
the artists bad-mouthed his woes
through the media.
The studio has been experiencing
massive financial losses and it’s at
the brink of collapse.
Most of the signed artists in the
embattled studio have been all
over the media talking ill of their
boss.
Last week, “Matata” hit maker,
Kenzo, who is among the affected
artists told a local publication that
there is a lot of con-games,
favouritism and mismanagement
at Ogopa and as a result, he has
also been shown the door.
Other artists who have also been
kicked out of the South B based
studio include, Colonel Mustapha,
Marya and Avril. They have been
labeled “traitors” for leaking
Ogopa’s troubles to the public.
Surprisingly, most of the artists
whose contracts have been
terminated had their projects
underway in the studio and they
fear all their efforts will go to the
dogs.
In this entire saga, “Kioo” hit
maker, Jaguar, seems to have the
last laugh as he had foreseen the
studio’s collapse and many
predicted his downfall after he
ditched the stable that discovered
him.
However, he has been releasing
massive hits, proving all haters
wrong. Will Ogopa deejays stand
the test of time? Well, only time
will tell.
