Otieno Kajwang was a Member of the Kenyan Senate since 28 March 2013 till 19 November 2014
His home Constituency was Homa Bay County in nyanza province.

He served as thr Minister of State for
Immigration and Registration of
Persons for a very short period but with good performance before a cabinet reshuffle was done.

He served in office from the yrar 2008 until the year 2013, in the reign of President Mwai kibaki.

Gerald Otieno Kajwang (15 July
1956 – 18 November 2014) was a
Kenyan politician. He belonged to
the Orange Democratic Movement
and had been elected to represent
the Mbita Constituency in the
National Assembly of Kenya since
the Kenyan parliamentary election,
2007.
In the bitterly contested 2013 elections, Otieno Kajwang
was elected to represent Homa Bay
county as a senator.
Senator Kajwang died on 19
November 2014 at Mater hospital
after suffering cardiac arrest.
He was the brother to Ruaraka MP,
Tom Joseph Kajwang’.
