The University of Nairobi has
produced the most innovative female
student in Africa in 2014.
Irene Kendi, the Sonu Vice President,
popularly known as ‘Mama Yao’,
received the award on August 1 in
Ghana during the All Africa Students
Union summit.
Irene prominently featured in
campus politics, after she recently
threatened to lead women to
undress and compel Uhuru and
Raila to dialogue for the sake of
peace.
