Aurier as Bacary Sagna's
replacement
TOULOUSE defender Serge Aurier is
on Arsenal’s summer shopping list.
Boss Arsene Wenger believes Aurier
can replace Bacary Sagna, 31, whose
contract runs out in June and is
snubbing a new deal.
There is also concern
over the form of Spanish
left-back Nacho Monreal,
28.
Ivory Coast international
Aurier – rated at
£15million – is doing little to
dampen speculation he could be
heading to The Emirates.
He said: “You can’t refuse an offer
from Arsenal – it would be a dream.”
He has won rave reviews this season
and been described as 'the Dani
Alves of Ligue 1'.
